| I found this attractive green and white ground cover growing at
Longwood Gardens. Painting these plants was a real challenge because I had to stand
back from the canvas occasionally to gain appraise my composition. Then I'd move
back to the easel--paint for while--then step away again. Sometimes I'd discover
that I still hadn't painted the section of the canvas that I'd intended to paint!
